Landfill Projects

Landfill construction and closure is one of J.A. McDonald, Inc.'s areas of expertise. One of our most recent projects was the Parker Landfill Superfund Site in Lyndonville Vermont. This project involved re-grading of trash, adding a soil cover, and a geosynthetic cover as well as gas extraction wells, and gas collection piping throughout. This site had to meet certain OSHA specifications and was an EPA certified site as well. All personnel working on this site were required to pass a forty hour Hazardous Material/Waste Health and Safety Training Course. J.A. McDonald met all demands and once again delivered a quality end product.
